Today’s Everglades Fishing Report

image

The fishing today in the Everglades was filled with some non stop action . With the weather being perfect in  mid 80 s and no wind we decided to fish  the inshore wrecks that holds many different  species of fish. When we pulled up to our first spot the mackerel where everywhere and within minutes of casting out a gold spoon  we where hook up with a nice mackerel  that was in the 5 lb range . After catching several more nice mackerel with a few nice blue fish mixed  in we decided to head inshore and fish a oyster bar and caught a good number of redfish , snook and trout. With the October  weather being perfect  don’t miss out on some great fishing , give me a call and let me set you up on your next Everglades  fishing adventure

Get Ready For Some Great October Action

image

With September over and October Just getting started  get ready for some great fishing action. October is one of the best months for fishing in the Everglades , with the bait moving in  from offshore the fishing should be red hot . October is one of the best months for catching redfish ,this is the time of year when the redfish start to school up on the outside points looking for shrimp and crabs to eat . The snook fishing in October  should also be good , this time of year is when we like to fish for them along the beaches on the rising tides and in the rivers on the falling tides . The baits we like to use and works the best are live pilchards or a fresh cut ladyfish that snook can’t resist .  The trout fishing this time of year will also be great providing you with some non stop action . This is the time of year when the trout move in from offshore and on to the grass flats  . Trout are a lot of fun to catch and can make for a great fish dinner . Don’t miss out on some great fishing in October give me a call and let me set you up on your next fishing trip

The Redfish Are On The Bite

image

With september in full swing this weeks fishing have been filled with a lot of great redfish action . When we left my dock this morning we decided to fish for redfish and trout and the bait we where going to be using was a root beer riptide jig that works great for catching redfish , snook and trout . With the tide dead low and rising we anchored up on an outside point where redfish like to hang out , and after several  minutes of steady casting we scored with a nice redfish that was in the 7 lb range . As the morning went on we had steady redfish action catching and releasing over 18 nice redfish . When the redfish action died we headed to a nearby grass flat and caught serval nice trout with a few pompano mixed in . September action has been red hot providing us with some great action so don’t miss out on some great fishing give a call and let me set you up on your next fishing adventure

With the bait starting to show up all over the Everglades the fishing this month has been excellent . When we left my dock today we fill up my boats livewell with live pilchards and headed down  south to get into some great fishing action . With the tide starting to rise we stop at a old tree that holds some nice size triple tail and after a few minutes of casting out a live pilchard under a popping Cork we scored with a nice size triple tail that was in the 9 lb range . After catching 2 more triple tail and with no wind out on the water we headed offshore a mile and fished a wreck where we caught a nice mix of mackerel , mangrove snapper and blue fish . Fishing this September has really been good providing us with some non stop action so if you would like book a trip and fish in the Everglades,  10,000 islands give me a call
