Novembers Fishing is Starting Off Red Hot

imageimage

With the weather still being perfect in the Everglades  we decided to head offshore today and run the crab trap lines and fish for triple tail . Triple tail are great fighting fish and are one of the best eating fish there is . After several minutes of running our first line we, saw a nice fish that was in the 7 lb range. After making a perfect cast with a  live shrimp we hooked and landed a nice fish that was going on the grill tonight for dinner . After catching several more  triple tail we decided to head inshore and fish the grass flats where we caught a good number of keeper size trout and pompano. With November here and the fish being on the bite don’t miss out on some great action. Give  me a call and lets set you up on your next fishing adventure

A Great Day Of Fishing In The Everglades

image

When we left my dock today in Everglades City the weather was perfect. So, we cast netted some live pilchards for bait and headed down south to  (lostsmans river ) for a day of some great fishing. The first spot we stopped  at was an oyster bar , where the redfish and snook love to hang out  .  After several minutes of casting out a  couple of live pilchards for bait ,the fish started to turn on. We caught several nice snook and redfish that where in the 10 lb range . After the action started to slow down , we headed out to the grass flats and scored with  a nice mess of trout , pompano and mackerel that provided us with some non-stop action. Fishing  in the Everglades is at its best right now . So , if you’re looking to get out on the water for some great fishing give me a call , and let’s go catch some fish

Octobers Fishing Is At Its Best

image

With the first cold front of the year moving though the Everglades area, we decided to head south and fish the grass flats for some  trout and pompano . When we arrived at the first spot the tide was rising so we decided the bait that would work the best would be a rootbeer colored jig for the trout, and a 1 inch tube jig for the pompano. After several minutes into our first drift the trout started to bite we caught several nice trout with a few nice pompano  mixed in . Later on in the day when the tide started to fall we cast netted some live pilchards for bait and headed to a spot where the snook and redfish have been hanging out . After a couple of minutes casting out a live pilchard we were  hooked  up with a nice snook that was in the 30 inch range .As the rest of the day went on we scored with several  more nice snook and redfish that provided us with some great non-stop action . We are at the time of the year when fishing is at its best so , don’t miss out on some great action .Give me a call and let me get you out on the water for a great day of fishing

The fishing this weekend in the Everglades was at its best providing us with some great action. The first spot we stopped  was a grass flat where we caught   a good number of nice size trout and pompano . Later on in the morning when the tide started to fall we headed to a snook and redfish spot,  the bait we were going to be using was live pilchards that snook and redfish can’t resist . After several  minutes of casting out   a live bait , we were  hooked up with a nice snook that measured 31 inches. As the morning went on the action remained red hot ,scoring with a nice mix of redfish and snook. The weather for October has been absolutely perfect making for some great fishing so don’t miss out on some great action give me a call and let me get you out on the water for a great day of fishing.
