This weeks fishing in the Everglades has been great  providing us with some great snook and redfish action . When we left my dock this early this morning we headed down to lostsman river to fish the falling tide . When we arrived at the first spot the snook crashing bait along the shoreline and within minutes of our first cast we where hook up with one that measured  38 inches , after  catching several more snook that where  of nice size we headed up the river and fished and oyster bar and scored with 14 redfish that where in the 4-8 lb range The fishing for the month of June has been red hot providing us with some great action if you would like me to set up your next fishing adventure please give me a call

When we left my dock today we headed south of everglades city to fish the grass flats for some trout . As we made our first drift the trout where on the bite we scored with 8 nice trout that averaged between 3-5 lbs . After  the trout bite slowed down we decided to head into to the deep creek and fish for some redfish,  the bait we where using was a riptide jig tip with a shrimp after about 5 minutes of steady casting we finally  scored with 4 nice redfish the where in the 7 lb range and one that tip the scales at 10 lbs  . With the thunderstorms starting to built up in the early afternoon we have been leaving my dock in Everglades City a daylight . Today when we left my dock we headed to the south to fish for snook and redfish . The first spot we stop at was a deep shoreline that a had a hard shell bottom and the bait we where using was a  fresh cut piece of lady  fish that snook and redfish love to eat this time of year . After about 5 minute of our baits soaking on the bottom we had are first bite, it was a nice 10 lb blacktip shark . After about another 5  minutes of waiting , the redfish and snook started  to move in , we caught a nice mix fish that where in the 5-10 lb range  .  After the bite slowed up we decided to fish a spot where the tripletail like hang out and after a few minutes of casting a riptide jig we hooked up and landed a 12 lb nice tripletail that was going on the grill for tonight’s dinner . Even with the heavy rain this week the fishing was still good . When we left my dock today we put on our rain gear and headed out to the trout flats where we scored with several nice trout that where in the 3-5 lb range. After catching of fill of trout we headed to an oyster bar shoreline and caught several redfish to 27 inches using fresh cut ladyfish for bait . Despite all the rain this week , this weeks fishing was filled with some great action. Today when we left my dock in Everglade City the weather was perfect so we decided to fish a nearby grass flat for some trout  . The bait we where using today was a live pilchard under a popping cork that works the best for catching big trout. When we arrived at the first spot the tide was rising and the trout where on the bite we caught several  fish that where in the 5 lb range . After  catching our fill of trout we decided to fish the falling tide in the Chatham river and scored with 7 nice size snook .
