The fishing in the Everglades today was great. We had plenty of non stop action! When we left my dock,we headed offshore to catch some   bait.  After we netted our bait, we saw 2 nice permit tailing in the calm water. After making a great cast, using an imitation shrimp, we were hooked up. After a 20 minute fight, we landed and released the 25 lb permit , unharmed  .  Later on in the morning, we went to a spot where the snook and redfish have been hanging out. We anchored up and casted out a live pilchard on a popping cork. Before we knew it, the snook and redfish stared to bite! We caught several beautiful fish up to 12 lbs.
