Today’s Fishing Report

image

This morning, when we left my dock, the weather in Everglades city was cloudy, and rainy. We put on our rain gear, and headed south to get into some great action! The first spot we stopped at, was a shoreline that has been holding a lot of nice sized redfish. We casted out using a live shrimp under a popping cork, and within  minutes we were hooked up with a beautiful 10 lb redfish, that put up a great fight! After catching a few more redfish, the rain finally started to stop. We decided to move to a new spot to fish a nearby grass flat. While at the grass flat, we scored with several trout and pompano, that were  in the 3-5 lb range . With March almost over,  April is right around the corner and happens to be one of the best months for fishing in the Everglades! Don’t  miss out on some great action! Give me a call and let me get you out on the water!
