The weather in the Everglades the past few days has been absolutely perfect!  A light wind, and warm temperatures have made for some great fishing . The first spot we stopped at today,  was a grass flat, where we have been catching a good number of trout and pompano. With  the tide low, and starting to rise  at the grass flat, the fish where hungry. Two minutes into our first drift, we scored with five nice sized trout that where in the 4 lb range .  After catching our fill of trout, we headed to the Chatham river, to fish the incoming tide. While at the Chatham river, we caught a nice mix of redfish and snook, using a riptide shrimp jig . The fishing in the Everglades this week has been providing us with some great action!
