This summers fishing in the Everglades  has been great  providing us with some great action and some nice size fish . And with September right around the corner and  being one of the best months  for fishing in the 10,000 islands we look forward catching good numbers of snook redfish and trout . Today when we left my dock we  loaded up the boats live well  with live pilchards and headed down south to fish for snook and redfish. When we arrived at the first spot the fish hungry we caught a nice mix of reds and snook that where in the 5-12  lb range. After the snook and redfish bite slowed up we decided to fish a grass flat for trout and after several minutes of casting a riptide jig we caught several nice trout up to 5 lbs .
