Don’t Miss Out On Some Great October Fishing

image

October is turning out to be one of the best months for fishing that I have seen in a while. There are tons of white bait around, and the fishing has been on fire! Today, when we left my dock in Everglades City, We headed down toward the Houston River, where the snook and red fishing has been excellent . It didn’t take long after anchoring up the boat, for the fish to start biting. Within minutes of casting out a live bait, we were hooked up with a snook in the 10 lb range! After catching several more nice sized snook, with a few big redfish mix in, we decided to head a mile offshore to fish a wreck, where the mackerel have been schooled up. When we arrived offshore, the mackerel were everywhere. We saw the mackerel were crashing bait on the surface, so we decided to cast out a gold spoon for bait, that mackerel can’t resist. Right away we were into some solid, nonstop, action! We caught plenty of mackerel weighing up to 5 lbs. Don’t miss out on some great fishing action! Give me a call, and let me get you out on the water for a great day of fishing!

Octobers Fishing Report

The fishing in October has started off red hot! With big schools of redfish starting to show up down south, we decided to  load up the boat with some live bait,  and head south to the chatem river area, to get into some great redfish fishing action!  After casting out a live pilchard, it didn’t take long before the redfish started to bite. We had non stop action, catching redfish that where averaging in the 5 to 10 lb range.  After the redfish bites started to slow down, we decided to head to a near by grass flat, where scored with some nice size trout up to 5 lbs . We are in the time of year where the fishing is at its best in the Everglades. The redfish are starting to school up, the snook fishing is still holding strong, and the trout are moving in from offshore. The fishing in the Everglades is providing us with some great action!

Thanks for visiting my website! If you would like to get out on the water, and get It into some great fishing, give me a call!

Everglades Fishing Remains Red Hot

image

The month of September has been filled with great snook and redfish action!

Today, when we pulled away from the dock, we netted some live pilchards. After getting our bait, we headed down south to lostsmans river, where the snook and redfish have been schooled up. When we arrived at the first spot, it didn’t take long before the snook started to bite . We had non stop snook action, with most of the snook being in the 4 to 10 lb range. Later on in the morning, when the thunderstorms started to built up, we headed north around Everglades City to fish an oyster bar. We scored with 17 redfish up to 15 lbs!  The fishing in September has been filled with non stop action! With October right around the corner, I’m expecting the fishing to remain just as good as it has been in September, or even better!

Thanks for visiting my website! If you want to get into some great action, give me a call!

Thanks,

Capt Glenn
