With a cold front predicted to move though the Everglades this afternoon, we decided to leave my dock at daylight to beat the wind and the rain. The first spot we stopped at was a shallow point in the mouth of the Chatham river, where the tide was falling. After minutes of casting out a rootbeer riptide jig, we were hooked up with a 35 inch snook, that we released after taking several great pictures. After catching a couple more snook, we decided to head out to the grass flats. While at the grass flats, we scored with several nice trout and mackeral . The fishing in January has been providing us with some great action. If you would like to get out on the water, and have a great day catching fish, give me a call!
Thanks for visting my website!
