Today, when we left the dock, we decided to head deep into the backcountry, and do some snook fishing . The first spot we stopped at was a shallow bay, where snook like to hang out this time of year . After serval minutes of casting a top water plug, we were hooked up with a nice snook that was in the 7 lb range! After catching several more snook, we decided to head to a deep creek. While at the creek, we scored with some nice sized redfish, sheepshead, and black drum . The fishing in the Everglades this month has been good, providing us with a lot of great action.
