May is just about over, and, the fishing this month has been great! The snook fishing has been good, with some nice size fish being caught on the outside points and in the the mouths of the rivers . The redfishing has also been good, with a lot of nice sized fish being caught on the oyster bars, on the falling tides. Most of the redfish we have been catching has been  between 4 to 10 lbs. The trout this month have been providing us with some non stop action! May is the time of year when trout are spawning, so they will average bigger in size. On my charter the other day, we scored, with a trout that tipped the scale at 7 lbs! With the month of June a few days away, the fishing should be just as good as in May.
