The weather has finally started warming up after the last big cold front , so we decided to fish the creeks that are located deep in the back country. In the back county, the water is warmer, and the fish should be hanging out there. The first spot we stopped at, was a deep creek that had an oyster and rock bottom. The bait we used today was a riptide jig tip, with a piece fresh shrimp, which works best this time of the year. After several minutes of our first cast, we scored with a nice size snook, that put up a great fight. After taking several nice pictures with the snook, we released the fish, unharmed . As the morning went on, the fishing remained great. We caught a good mix of nice sized snook and redfish . The fishing is really starting to heat up after this last cold front we had. Don’t miss out on some great fishing! Give me a call, and let me get you out on the water for a day of great fishing!
