The weather today when we left my dock in  Everglades City was perfect hot and no wind so we decided to run about 1mile offshore and fish a nearby wreck for trout . After anchoring up and casting a riptide jig for a few minutes the trout started to bite we caught several nice trout up to 5 lbs. After  getting our fill of trout we headed inshore to fish the rising tide for snook the bait we where using was fresh cut ladyfish that we caught early in the day . After waiting about 15 minutes without a bite the snook finally moved in and started to feed we caught a good number of nice snook up to 12 lbs . Snook season open September 1 so don’t wait , book your days now and let me get you into some great action
