Everglades Fishing Report

When we left my dock out of Everglades city today we decided to head a mile offshore and fish a wreck that holds some nice size mackerel and triple tail . As we pull up to the first spot the mackerel where everywhere and within minutes we had are first mackerel in the boat . After catching several more nice size mackerel and bluefish we decided to run the crab trap lines where triple tail like to hang out. After about 10 minutes of running the lines we had our first  triple tail in the boat that weight  12lbs  . Triple tail are not only a great fighting fish they are one of the best eating fish there is. Later on in the day we decided to stop and fish a trout spot where we scored with some nice size trout and pompano . We are starting to get into the time of year where the fishing in the Everglades starts to heat up so if you want to gets into some great fishing action give me a call
