Today’s Fishing Report

With a cold front moving thought the Everglades today we decided to fish the deep creeks to keep out of the wind. The first spot we stopped at was a small creek that was in about 12 ft deep with an oyster bottom. The bait we where using was a fresh shrimp on a 2/0 hook with a small split shot on to keep the bait on the bottom. Within a few minutes of our first cast we scored with a nice a 3 lb trout that was going to make for a great dinner tonight, as the morning went on we scored with mixed bag of fish everything from goliath grouper to sheepshead, black drum and mangrove snappers. Even with a cold front moving thought the Everglades today the fishing was good ,providing us with some great action . If you would like to get out on the water and get into some great fishing action please give me a call
