We left my dock out of Everglades City with the Everglades snook on our mind. We decided to head down south of Everglades City and work the Everglades incoming tides. With the strong tides our Everglades bait of choice that we decided to use were slow sinking jerk baits and top water plugs. The first spot was a score with several nice Everglades snook, up to 10lbs and with a few Everglades redfish thrown in. As the tide started to flood the Everglades outside shoreline we decided to move deep into the Everglades backcountry were we continued to catch a good number of Everglade’s snook. The overall day of fishing was a lot of fish and fun.
