2 Everglades City fishing guides and I headed out of my dock in Everglades city on a 3 boat Everglades fishing charter. The fish we were hunting for that day were the Everglades sea trout and redfish. We all started of drifting the grass flats of the Everglades. The bait we were using were live Everglades shrimp under a popping cork. This Everglades style of fishing was the ticket, the trout were on the bite. We scored with several Everglades trout between 2 and 5 lbs. Later on in the day we hit a school of Everglades redfish that averaged 2 to 6 lbs.
