We are in the time of year where the fishing really starts to turn on . When we left my dock this morning we headed to the grass flats to fish for Trout and Pompano . The bait we where using was a riptide jig for the Trout and a 1inch tube jig that Pompano can’t resist . On our first drift we scored with several nice trout and Pompano up to 5 lbs ,also mixed in with the Trout where some good size Mackerel and Blue fish . After catching our fill of Trout and Pompano we decided to stop at outside point where the tide was rising and caught a nice mix of Redfish and Snook .
