Today’s Fishing Report

Today fishing charter was a fly fishing trip so we decided to travel deep into the backcountry and fish for Snook . The fly that we where using was a white deceiver and the area we where fishing was a shallow bay that had a lot snags where Snook love to hide out . As the morning we went on we scored with several Snook that where in the 3-8 lb range. Later on in the day while we where catching Snook we had a big surprise when a tarpon crashed the fly and after a 10 minute fight we landed and released a nice 20 lb Tarpon . With the weather warmer then normal for January the fishing in the Everglades has been red hot . If you would to book a day out on water and get into some great fishing action give me a call
